About this event
Taiwanese trio 3PEOPLEMUSIC (zheng, ruan, dizi/xiao) performs at the Museum Fünf Kontinente, responding to objects in the collection such as a fishing boat from Pongso no Tao (Lanyu). Yuän Chang, former principal conductor of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra, hosts the concert and introduces the music and instruments.
Seven pieces are planned: new arrangements of classical works, a Chaozhou melody, Taiwanese folk songs and a Paiwan love song, some drawing on blues and pop.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan; the series is also supported by the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF). Seating is limited; no registration needed.
